Is it just me or did this week zoom past? This week was really interesting because I’ve been given the chance to lead the design for a care home project at work. I quite enjoy the iterative process, problem-solving and refining details because a small change can make a huge difference.
On the side, it’s full steam ahead for :scale studio, a 2-week live course I’m building to help architecture students master skills that university fails to teach us. This is going to launching in a week! Nerve-wracking 😨
It definitely feels like the calm before a storm! 🌀 But I just love working on projects that are beneficial to so many students who are in the same position I was a few years ago.
My energy levels have remained constant throughout this week and I’ve found it a lot easier to maintain a habit of getting some skipping done during my lunch hour 🏃🏻♀️
I’ve found that investing in yourself either through exercise or learning a new skill or just prioritising time for yourself is hugely beneficial and can actually make a world of a difference if you’re obsessed with your productive output.
But maybe it’s not all about keeping up with the pace of others but instead just experimenting with what works for you. 🤔
